You can import customers, products and inventory data into AnyOrder, but the one feature that you'll end up using the most is the main import module which allows you to import invoices (or data to existing invoices).  It's what you would use to import orders from a shopping cart.  Or, if you use a third contractor or a distributor to sell some or all of your items, you can use this portion of the program to import their sales data.  It is reached from the Main Invoice Screen by selecting FILE >> IMPORT from the menu.
