Symbols and Icons Used
On the Guide to Idaho Paddling website and in the book, we use icons and symbols which encapsulate information in a visual manner. The icons (listed below) show the type of road access to the put-in and take-out point. The also provide a feel for what the river landscape is like and whether the trip involves camping or portaging, among other information.
